The Czech Republic local time11:40 AM July 19th (Beijing time 5:40 PM July 19th), accompanied by a long burst of whistle, the first train from the beautiful Prague starting to accelerate driving to Yiwu China. This is the ninth international freight line of Yiwu, and this is also the first line departure from Europe since the opening of train freights between Europe and Yiwu China.
The train is full of 41 containers, a total of 82 TEUs, including crystal, auto parts, beer and other Czech products and other European products, the total value of about 5 million US dollars. The train went through Poland, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, by the Alashan port of China, and ultimately arrived in Yiwu,Zhejiang, China, the whole transit time is about 16 days.
This is a trail of Silk Road, it’s fresh blood to ‘One Belt One Road’ great strategy of China. It is said that Prague and Yiwu train freight is expected to normalize in future.
